Dr Tina Grigoriou is a chartered counselling psychologist with the British Psychological Society and offers effective and evidence based therapies for people presenting with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety, health anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, work related stress, procrastination, relationship difficulties, sexual dysfunctions and difficulties, sexual abuse, low self esteem, personality disorders, eating disorders, bereavement, decision making and other existential issues.
Dr Grigoriou is trained to practice in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, schema-focused therapy, person centered (or humanistic) psychotherapy, eye movement desensensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), psychodynamic psychotherapy and Sex Therapy.
Dr Grigoriou remains abreast with the latest developments in psychological theory and practice by attending relevant seminars and courses that ensure her continuous professional development. She has gained her experience both in working with the NHS (secondary care and specialist services) and in private therapy settings. Her last post with the NHS was as a Highly Specialist Counselling Psychologist at Sutton and Merton IAPT service in 2010.
